Tasso Argyros leads product and global deployment strategy for Teradata’s Big Data products. His goal is to extend Teradata’s worldwide leadership in data management and analytics through emerging technologies and market opportunities. Tasso joined Teradata through the acquisition of Aster Data, a Big Data leader that he co-founded in 2005. Before Aster he was in the PhD program at Stanford University.
Tasso was recognized as a BusinessWeek Best Young Tech Entrepreneur for 2009 and as a World Economic Forum Technology Pioneer in 2010. He holds a Master’s Degree in Computer Science from Stanford University and a Diploma in Computer Engineering from Technical University of Athens.
